Attitude have I? Part two
In my second post I want to touch upon something that I think no one has yet. That’s attitudes among Patriots. One always get the scream of its about the cause, its about the cause. But in essence its more about I, you or some one on disagreements. Always!
And most times I’
ve found that these disagreements get pretty bad. Any why is that happening among us? We all want the same thing right? Well of course we do. But how in the world can we gain that if we can’t get along? It’s like a house full of brothers and sisters. Always a fight, argument and never ends! This one said that about this one, that one ate that ones coco pebbles. The whole house is in an uproar! Of course I do admit to being in the middle of some of these pissing matches. At times it’s entertainment. Many many years from now I suspect that these writings, blogs and forums on the
Internet will become part of Patriot history. Like our revolutionary war. Although part of our history I can imagine the very same aspect of the disagreements among our forefathers. Granted some how or another they pulled it together and done it. After of course having their asses handed to them several times. Simply put in my term that I understand is that as Americans we don’t get along. We love the train wrecks in our lives and for some reason it helps us in times of aggressions. And right now, our train wreck is upon us in this 2008 elections. Why is that you may ask? Well because we Patriots really don’t get along and I doubt we ever will. But one thing I’
ve learned about all this is the fact that in times of aggression we pull our selves together for the common goal, or in this case the cause. Its been asked about the when. When will Americans pull their heads out and do the job needed done. Personally I’m betting on the elections. But my fellow Patriots even then it is no guarantee. Never has been or will be. With the exception of the Reagan years. Yeah ole Carter pussy footed around with the Iranian hostage situation. But how quickly they were released when Ronnie took the White house. I only base this on assumptions of what the Iranians were thinking would go down if they
weren’t released. Just an opinion of my own. Very few good Patriots lived in the American White house. A house designed by an Irish man and built by Patriotism among immigrants. True!
I may not get along with some people on the inter net or agree with
somes actions. But God bless you all for being Americans and willing to go that step if we have to. But the question still remains, what will it take to step up? I think that time is soon coming. The day we go vote for our new
POTUS! There’s a bunch of folks running for this seat and not very good ones in my opinion. And I’
ve always stood on the grounds that no man or woman is perfect especially in this election. A lot of talk about this one and that one running for office. Ron Paul I think is the one most people talk about. Good or bad he is in the discussions. Some think of him as a crazy little old man and some think of him as a God of some sort. Me, I think our country needs a complete enema and if some one like Paul can get it started then what’s the harm? No one is perfect, granted. But what do all these other candidates have to offer? Nothing really. All about the same crap as have been in the last 50 years. Name a president that is a history maker? In the last 60 years? Kennedy, with the Cuban ordeal. Now here’s a man that stepped up and said no, Ill kick your ass!
We need a history maker in this country. I don’t think
Huckabee, or
Obama can do that. I think they are no different that any other person working to get in the house.
Of the three branches of our Government the
POTUS is the executive branch. Can he make the changes in this country to turn us around? I don’t know. But I do know as a nation the American Patriot is pissed. And when an American is pissed we have the only outlet to release that anger, it appears to me that our selves is where the attention goes. I my self blame this on diversity and culture. But then there’s an event that pulls us together as nation. Such as 9/11
Remember how we all prayed and pulled together? I do. Remember when we were told that this certain country is the blame for it. And as a nation of Patriots we wanted someone’s ass?
Military
recruitment's went up. America prayed and held ritualistic rites on side walks and on the streets for remembrance of those lost on 9/11.
To this day, I can not sit and watch Twin towers all the way through. Attitude? Have I? Yes. As a nation that leads the world in military strength why are we playing around with these terrorist? Why are we sending our children to a war that that to me,
isn’t working. Everyday there is death from some idiot with a bomb strapped to his or her waist. Looking back in time as history tells us the Japanese was so much worse than today’s terrorist. I say this based on what I know from History. The atrocities that were put upon prisoners of the Japanese are some times
UN speak able. Bayoneting babies for Gods sake. The terrorist we deal with today simply blow stuff up. But the Japanese, the Nazis had a different way. A whole hell of a lot worse. None the less. When we took out the major cities on the Island of the rising sun the whole attitude changed. Like, Oh shit! The Americans
aren’t playing any more; we better straighten out our selves. Now, Japan is a huge economic power in it self. Same with Germany with democracy. And none of comes with out a huge cost. But think back, look what the American culture done to pull it off. A unity! We recycled, we sacrificed, and we worked to win a world war. Attitude have I? Where is that Unity today? And if we can’t as a nation do it again we are in trouble people!
Thanks for reading. Stay tuned for Part three!
